Description
1940s? Recipe Book. Housekeeping Tips and Many, Many Recipes. Broken notebook with many pages of recipes (about fifty pages with about three recipes per page, on average), several pages of household tips, and several recipe booklets. About a third of the recipe pages are carefully typed, about a third are newspaper clippings pasted on the pages, and about a third are hand written. The pages’ eyelet holes–where they would fit into the notebook–are mostly torn, but the pages are still in rough order. Cakes are with cakes, “hot dishes” are together, etc. Everything is legible.
