Of course we have the cookbook. See it here: https://www.vintagecookbook.com/product/new-pennsylvania-dutch-cook-book-1958/
New Pennsylvania Dutch Cook Book, 1958: Ruth Hutchinson first published the Pennsylvania Dutch Cook Book in 1948. It was so successful, Hutchinson added 135 new recipes to her collection, much of it Moravian material, and published the New Pennsylvania Dutch Cook Book in 1958. This cookbook was published by Harper & Brothers, New York. Hard cover with dust jacket. 240 pages. The dust jacket has shelf wear, but it is now safely encased in Mylar. The book itself is in mint condition. Gift quality.
The book contains all the popular recipes of the most famous regional cooking in the United States, along with a great deal of local history and food folklore. Charming illustrations by Tim Palmer. The only cookbook we’ve had with a chapter called “Of Hexel and Mummix.” (That’s hash, in English.)
