Naples/Marco Philharmonic League Cookbook, 1989: Cookbook subtitled Fantastic Foods of the Philharmonic. Stated first printing, November, 1989. Cardboard covers and plastic comb binding. 318 pages. Excellent vintage condition. Some shelf wear on the cover. Pages are all clean and crisp.
I’m surprised that this cookbook hasn’t become one of those legendary, highly sought after cookbooks that cooks prize. It has chapters on appetizers and hors d’oeuvres, soups and salads, vegetables, entrees, desserts, beverages, breads, and a potpourri chapter. Reading through the recipes, I find many new recipes that sound delicious. For example, the chapter on “Seaside Suppers” has 36 recipes for shrimp, scallop, crab, clam, or lobster casseroles and main dishes. See our recipes section for two of those recipes.
