Prudence Penny Binding of American Woman’s Cook Book, 1957, published for the San Francisco Examiner by the Consolidated Book Publishers, Chicago. Hard cover book with 752 pages. Thumb indexed. First four pages of the book are missing. Other than that, the cookbook is in excellent vintage condition.

After a chapter called General Auxiliary Recipes, the cookbook is divided into subject areas like “Eggs and Cheese” and “Vegetables and Salads.” These areas are clearly findable because they are listed on the thumb indexed labels. All of them are clean and clear.
