The YWCA Hotel in Bangkok must be a fascinating place. Google it even today and you’ll find a long list of concerts and activities, along with information about staying in the hotel. One of those activities is a weekly international cooking demonstration, and this cookbook benefits from those demonstrations as well as other sources. This 1965-66 book is published in both English (pages 1-170) and Thai (pages 171-225), with two complete, detailed indices. The cookbook also has full-page advertisements, helpful illustrations, and clever drawings for chapter headings. It has a hard cover with yellow and turquiose calico-type print and a clear plastic cover over that. The first few pages and the last few pages have some light foxing. The inner pages are completely clean and clear. The binding is firm. Excellent vintage condition.
