Description
Woman’s Home Companion Cook Book, 1951, Cook’s Copy. This copy is the 1951 (unchanged) printing of the original 1942 version. Published by P.F. Collier and Son, New York. Edited by Dorothy Kirk, food editor, The Woman’s Home Companion. 987 pages. Hard cover, of course. This cover has some modest shelf wear. The hinges are perfect, and the binding is sound. Many of the pages have very minor dots and stains, and some of them have water spots on the pages. A serious cook used this cookbook, but she was careful with it. No page is a disaster.
