Cookbook has a recipe for “A Perfect Chicago,” detailing what’s necessary for an incorruptible city government. Then, it has recipes for beverages, breads, hot breads and sandwiches, cakes, cookies and small cakes, desserts, entrees, meat, poultry and fish, pastry, pickles and preserves, salads and salad dressing, soups, and vegetables.
Since the cookbook was compiled by the Library Committee, you could probably guess that the whole thing is alphabetized. It’s sort of endearing.
