Wisconsin Beef Cook-Off Cookbook, 1985, 10th Anniversary Edition: Cookbook produced by the sponsors of the Wisconsin Beef Cook-Off, the Wisconsin CowBelles and the Wisconsin Beef Council. The recipes were developed by Wisconsin cooks and judged by the National Live Stock and Meat Board. The five finalists then prepared their dishes for a local television show. This cookbook is a paperback with plastic comb binding. 248 pages. It looks like the cookbook had an unfortunate kitchen countertop accident. The cover has several stains, and the page edges have more stains. However, the pages themselves are completely clean and clear. The binding is sound.
The book is arranged in chapters according to cuts of meat and traditional dishes. So, the recipes are for round roast, round steak, round cubes and strips, ground beef, brisket, meatballs and meatloaf, chuck roast, chuck cubes and strips, beef casserole, beef stew, soup, salads and sandwiches, pizza, beef pie specialties and chili, plate and shank, and beef quantity.
