What to Cook for Company, 1952

$54.00 $45.75

What to Cook for Company, by Lenore Sullivan. First published in 1952 by The Iowa State University Press, this is from the printing, hundreds of recipes included. 530 pages. Ms. Sullivan taught catering classes at Iowa State, and this book is the result! The cookbook is in excellent vintage condition. There’s NO dust jacket. The pages are uniformly tanned. All are clear and clean. Gift quality!

Wonderful recipes written with a lively, conversational style. The reason I love this cookbook: Sullivan’s many asides (in italics,) often with a funny story. Often she tells a story that was told to her by one of her students. See VintageCookbook’s Recipes section for a student’s lovely story about the ceremony of making polenta in her family.
