Venus in the Kitchen,1953. Stated U.S. First Edition, First Printing. Mint Condition!

Venus in the Kitchen or Love’s Cookery Book, by Norman Douglas.  Introduction by Graham Greene. Published by The Viking Press, New York, 1953. Hard cover with dust jacket. 192 pages. First edition, stated first printing. A wonderfully funny, lighthearted cookbook about cooking to further romantic pursuits. AND, the recipes are excellent, all for dishes that you would cook for your lover. Mint condition–absolutely as-if-new condition!  The dust jacket is perfect, as well.   Ribbon place marker still attached.   I don’t think this book has ever been used. Enjoy!
