Frankly, this is the first time I’ve been able to wrangle a first edition of this cookbook at a good enough price that I could still offer it to you at a decent price.  Now, I’m not sure I even  Day-Lewiswant to sell it.  I’ve always known that people who own this cookbook kind of worship it.  Now I know why.  It’s a cookbook that teaches the basics, and that offers challenges to the sophisticated cook.  The chapter “Christmas Countdown” is just simply a blessing.  It gives you a schedule for a successful Christmas, beginning in OCTOBER!  Look at the image for the first part of the timeline she gives you for Christmas Day!  Tasmasin’s Kitchen Bible even gives you recipes for dishes to cook between Christmas and New Year, dishes that will “solicit awe and delight without costing you your time and your sanity.”
