In fact, the title page of this volume says, “Quiet Drinking / Revised or ‘Repeal’ Edition.” This printing is considered most desirable, since it is post-repeal. Hardback book with 114 pages.
Book is in excellent antique condition. The cover has very moderate shelf wear. The front hinge is exposed, but holding. The back hinge is perfect. The binding is perfect. All the pages are all perfectly clear and clean. No dust jacket. This is a very practical book. The first chapter is on beer: how to serve it and what food to serve with it. The next chapter is on cocktails, again how to serve and what to serve with. Last is wines.
