Nela’s Cookbook, Nela Rubinstein, 1983, First Edition, First Printing

Nela’s Cookbook, Nela Rubinstein, 1983, First Edition, First Printing: Cookbook by the wife of Maestro Arthur Rubinstein, who was in her own right a world famous private chef. This is a warm, chatty cookbook with Rubinstein’s memories of traveling the world, dining in the world’s best restaurants, entertaining, and raising a family. She grew up in Lithuania, so many of the dishes come from that part of Europe.

Nela’s Cookbook, by Nela Rubinstein, was published by Alfred A. Knopf, New York in 1983. Lovely sketches throughout by Felicia Krance. Stated first edition, presumed first printing, no other being mentioned. Hard cover book with dust jacket. 397 pages. Dust jacket has some shelf wear. Book is in as-if-new condition. Pages clean and clear. Binding and hinges perfect. Definitely gift quality.
