First edition, first printing copy published in 1938. Rare, very difficult-to-find cookbook. Chapters on appetizers, beverages, breads, sandwiches, salads, salad dressings, cookies, cakes, filings, and icings, desserts, lades, jellies, preserves and relishes. Coachman’s initial specialty was perfecting recipes for Florida fruits. So, for example, all of the recipes in the appetizer category are for various Florida fruit cocktails.
This cookbook is a first edition, first printing copy. Hard cover with 141 pages. Front hinge has been reinforced with clear librarian’s tape. Spine cover has been reinforced with clear librarian’s tape. Other than that, this copy of Mrs. Coachman’s Florida Recipes is in as-if-new condition.
