All pages are clear and clean. Many handwritten recipes and clipped recipes are stuffed into the book. I’ll send them along, of course.
This revised edition of Mrs. Beeton’s cookbook has no date. However, the Preface mentions “The world, especially since the War.” “The War” refers to what came to be known as World War I, after there was, unfortunately, World War II. So the cookbook must have been published since 1918 (the end of World War I) and before 1939 (the beginning of World War II.) The recipes were “examined by Mr. C. Herman Senn, M.B.E., F.R.H.S., and the details modified, wherever nnecessary, to suit present-day conditions.”
