Ferguson Publishing Company, Chicago. Hard cover. 1699 pages. (You can see why they eventually divided it up into two volumes.) This copy is in mint condition. Cover is perfect, with just the corners gently rounded. Every page is perfectly clean and clear. The hinges are like new, as is the binding. A classic cookbook with practical chapters on topics like “Buying Staples” and comparisons between eggs and apples. This cookbook would be a marvelous present for a serious cook or a serious cookbook collector.
