First edition, later printing of a famous cookbook that has been reprinted many times. Hard cover, 286 pages. The dust jacket of this cookbook has some shelf wear, especially at the edges. The hard back cover, however, is PERFECT. The pages are all clean and clear. The binding is very tight, as are the spine and hinges. All the classic Italian recipes are here, with their Italian names, including many recipes for “variety meats,” or sweet breads. Many, many wonderful sauce recipes.
