Magazine-sized booklet with paper cover.  Published by the Kerr Glass Manufacturing Corporation.   56 pages.  Advertising for Kerr jars,  caps, and clamps, of course, plus instructions for planning and many recipes.  Excellent vintage condition.  Moderate shelf wear on the cover.  Pages are completely clean and clear.  Stapled binding is sound.

But the interesting focus of this booklet is “Food will build a new America.”  As the introduction to the booklet says, “In view of the nation-wide program to increase and conserve the country’s agricultural products, Home Canning takes on a new importance.  Planned food conservation for year around nutritious meals are the best and most economical source of important food essentials.”
