Kentucky Cooking New and Old by the Colonelettes! 1955, 1958:  A collection of mouth-watering dishes in the fine food tradition of the South, compiled and published by “the Colonelettes” (wives of members of the Louisville, Kentucky Junior Chamber of Commerce.)  First edition published in 1955.  This copy is from the 1958 second edition.  Tabbed dividers for chapters on dips & nibblers, side dishes, sandwiches, main dishes, and sweet stuff.  Chapter called R.S.V.P. has menus and recipes for entertaining, highlighted by Derby Breakfast with the Susemichels.  Last chapter called “Baedeker for the Men” has recipes like Rinktum Diddy, Noocheeta, the Commodore’s Lamb Shish Kabob, Charlie’s Super-Duper Cake, the Mad Scientist, Hair of the Dog, plus many cocktail recipes.

Cookbook is in good vintage condition.  144 pages are all clean and clear.  Plastic comb binding is cracked, but holding.
