How To Make Booze at Home, 1969, First Edition, First Printing, Kurt Devlin:  Subtitled:   “A Study Concerning the Generation of White Lightening/ Practical Guide for Making Booze in Your Home for Less Than One Dollar a Quart!”  Self-published by the author, Kurt Devlin, and printed by Creative Press & Advertising, Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado.   40-page booklet that explains the fermentation process, distillation methods, the pot still system, the reflux still system, the miniature still system, proofing, aging of alcohol,  how to make specific liquors, plus state of the law  and taxes (in 1969.)  Devlin includes a safety checklist, a list of flavors and where to buy them, and a page of stick-on labels, so you can keep your vodka separate from your dry vermouth.  (The labels are all still here.)  Clever cartoons by B. Braun.

This booklet is in excellent vintage condition.  The cover has a stain on the back and some moderate shelf wear.   The pages are all clean and clear.  They are universally tanned at the edges.  The stapled binding is firm.

Devlin claims that booze made to his specifications will not give you a hangover!
