$88.00

Household Searchlight Recipe Book, by The Household Magazine, from Topeka, Kansas. The binding is beautiful–embossed, black, and very high gloss, with the quite elaborate embossed picture of a sweet cottage under some trees. Compiled and edited by Ida Migliario, Zorada Z. Titus, Harriet W. Allard, and Irene Nunemaker. First published in 1931. This copy is from the 1939 twelfth printing, revised and enlarged. 300 pages of recipes from soup to nuts, with tabbed pages for categories like, “Fish and Wild Game” or “Icings and Fillings.” Tabbed index. Near mint condition. Has shelf wear and bumped corners, but the embossedOther than serving as a holder for some cut-out recipes from magazines and newspapers, I don't think this copy was ever used. Definitely gift quality.
