Your Home Cook Book, Phoebe Dane, 1929: 71-page, hard cover cookbook by Phoebe Dame and published by Constructive Publishing Corporation, New York, in 1929, the first year of the Great Depression in the United States. This little cookbook knows its priorities: It has 21 pages of cake and cookie recipes and two pages of meat recipes. Cookbook is in excellent antique condition. Cover has very minor shelf wear. Binding is firm, hinges are fine, and pages are all clean and clear.
