College who went to college during the Roaring Twenties.) Held is known as a chronicler twenties, and especially of the of the flapper. Published by Thomas Y. Crowell Company, New York, in 1952. This copy is from the first edition, first printing, a hardback book with 211 pages. Held’s illustrations, often two or more, are on almost every page. There are many full page illustrations. The book is in mint condition. Binding is perfect, hinges are perfect, and all pages are clean and clear. The dust jacket is nearly perfect and is safely encased in Mylar.
