Eggs: Two Volume Set with Slip Case, 1933, Chicago World’s Fair Century of Progress.  Book I:  Whence come our Eggs and Poultry?  Book II:  Best of food: Eggs and Poultry. Books written by Mary Engle Pennington, Frank L. Platt, Clara Gebhard Snyder, and Paul Mandeville, with an introduction by Gove Hambidge.  Books were sponsored by the Institute of American Poultry Industries.  Books were published by Progress Publications, Chicago.  Both books are hard cover with elegant silver and blue embossed covers.  Book I has 304 pages plus index.  Book II has 308 pages.

This is a two volume set, of course, with both books in absolutely as-if-new condition.  Slip case has very light shelf wear.  Slip case is marked “Done expressly for 1933 Chicago World’s Fair A Century of Progress,” with the silver and blue rectangular logo.  Both books have the logo on the spine cover.
