Donor Club Cook Book, 1948, Elgin, Illinois: Fund-raising cookbook compiled by the Donor Club of Elgin, Illinois. The Donor Club was founded in 1912 to help the sick, poor and needy in the City of Elgin. Hard cover book with 228 pages. Lots of yummy-sounding recipes, plus many fun local advertising. Elgin had a Chatter Box café!

This cookbook is in nearly mint vintage condition. The cover has some very minor shelf wear, especially at the corners of the spine cover.  The hinges are perfect, the binding is tight, and the binding is firm.
