“Permaslim” (with no hyphen) is on the Web as a diet using a supplement to suppress the appetite. The diet in this cookbook doesn’t seem to be that. This 1973 cookbook presents a diet with strict “4 oz. fish or meat or poultry” amounts of food, and strict lists of the exact foods and amounts allowed. In fact, the diet is so restrictive, it allows certain dishes to be eaten only at lunch, not for dinner.
