Up-to-Date Sandwich Book: 555 Ways to Make a Sandwich, 1909, 1929: Cookbook compiled by Eva Greene Fuller, first published in 1909 by A. C. McClurg & Co., Chicago as Up-to-Date Sandwich Book: 400 Ways to Make a Sandwich. This revised and expanded edition (although the book doesn’t say it is revised and expanded) was also published by A.C. McClurg & Co., Chicago. Beautiful pale green borders on the top and bottom of every page, and sometimes in the center. Binding is perfect. Hinges are perfect. Pages are all clean and clear. Cover has some light stains. Spine cover is worn and has been reinforced with clear librarian’s tape. Cookbook in excellent antique condition. Nearly mint.
Fuller has chapters on sandwiches made of fish, egg, salads, meat, cheese, nut, sweet, miscellaneous, and canapes. The 1929 supplement includes the same ingredients in additional sandwiches.
