Das Ist Zucker That’s Sugar: Huge, oversized recipe book, instruction book and coffee table art book with the double title Das Ist Zucker That’s Sugar. (I don’t know why, but my scanner wouldn’t scan the top line of the title on the front of the dust cover, Das Ist Zucker. I promise it is there!) Hard cover with dust jacket. Self-published, 1992. 119 full color, clay coated pages of astonishing pieces of sugar confectionary by Ewald and Susan Notter, the writers, publishers, artists and teachers at the Zuckerdecorschule or International School of Confectionery Arts, Zurich and Gaithersburg, Maryland. This book was the gold medal winner of the CAD award or Gastronomischel Akademie Deutschlands. The dust jacket has some dings. The book is in near perfect condition. The pages all are rimmed with light tanning. Otherwise, pages are clean and clear. Signed by both authors, with an inscription apparently to a student at their school.

Chapters on Preparation and Storage, Sugar Casting, Sugar Pulling, Sugar Blowing, Various Techniques. These creations are astonishing!
