Hinges are perfect. Pages are completely clean and clear. This cookbook was never used.
Hong doesn’t fool around when writing a cookbook. The book has a page and a half forward by John C. Knight. Then come the recipes. Hong just lays out recipes for every Chinese dish you’ve ever heard of, and many that you haven’t, with no extraneous text or illustrations or explanations. The cooking instructions are just woven into the lists of ingredients. Very clear and easy to follow.
