Cheap Eats: The Art Student’s Coloring Cook Book, 1976, Parsons School of Design:  Gorgeous cookbook with over 100 drawings and recipes from students, faculty and friends of the Parsons School of Design, affiliated with The New School, New York, New York.  Cookbook made to stand upright on your table or counter.   It has a double metal comb binder, very heavy cardboard cover, and heavy, textured paper for the 144 pages.   Cheap Eats follows the 1975 cookbook, Bread.  The students did these beautiful cookbooks instead of traditional yearbooks.   There’s a recipe and illustration by Maurice Sendak (Chicken Soup with Rice.).  Cookbook compiled and edited by Cipe Pineles, Tory Etlinger, Annette Geyer, Harrison Getz, Muney Curson, Bea T. Kovich, A. Robin Ordeau, Mary Ann Pettorini, and Liz Torvato.   Illustrations and recipes by Karel Appel, Bernarda Bryson Shahn, Robert Gwathmey, Larry Rivers, and others.

This copy is in nearly mint condition.  The cover has some shelf wear and some rubbing.  Pages are completely clean and clear.  Binding is perfect.  All of the drawings still need coloring.
