This revised edition was published by Little, Brown in 1929. Hard cover book with 222 pages. This copy has moderate shelf wear on the cover, with worn corners and edges, and a spot on the cover. The hinges were reinforced with clear librarian’s tape. Binding is sound. Pages are almost completely clean and clear. This book was probably never used.
Bradley discusses candy making at home as a way to make family fun. She includes recipes for uncooked candies, assorted chocolates, fudges, fondant candies, caramels and nougatines, pulled candies, hard candies, glaces and pulled flowers, crystallized fruits, fruit and gelatine candies, dried fruits and nuts, meringues and macaroons, popcorn candies, decorated candies and cakes, and favors.
