I can’t see how you would set out to can or freeze food without a Ball Blue Book. It has chapters on learning about canning, including a gardening panning guide, a chapter on acid foods, chapters on pickles and relishes, on jellies and semi-soft spreads, on low acid foods, on special diets, on freezing, plus a problem solver guide (see image for sample,) and a glossary of canning and freezing terms. Again, nearly mint condition.
