Provides information about canning equipment, methods of canning, important rules for successful canning, Canning Time Table for Standard Fruits, Vegetables, Meats, Poultry, and Fish. Recipes for canning fruits, berries, fruit juices, vegetables, and meat, poultry and fish. In addition, the booklet has recipes for soups and instructions for canning the soup, as well as recipes for making jellies preserves, marmalades, jams, and conserves. There are also recipes for pickles and relishes, chutneys, ketchups and hot sauces. And, of course, there is a complete discussion, with pictures, of the Ball line of jars, jar caps, glass lids, jelly glasses, and rubbers.
Booklet is in excellent vintage condition. The cover has minor shelf wear, with some white smudges on the back only. Pages are all clean and clear. Binding is sound.
