Baking at High Altitude: The Muffin Lady’s Old Fashioned Recipes, Signed First Edition: Over-sized hard cover cookbook with dust jacket, 268 pages. Lovely book with clay-coated paper, excellent food photography, and lots of hints for high-altitude baking, along with–of course–recipes for cookies, cakes, mountain muffins, sweet breads, fruit-filled treats, brownies, pies, and strudels. Also includes serving suggestions and some low calorie recipes. The book was self-published in 2003 by The Muffin Lady or Randi Levin. Centered in Evergreen, Colorado, The Muffin Lady developed her own high altitude baking recipes, baked and marketed her own goods, and sold them along “My Route” in Evergreen and Denver.
This cookbook is in almost mint condition. The dust jacket has some dings.
