American Woman’s Cook Book, 1942: A cook’s copy version of the 1942 edition of the American Woman’s Cook Book, edited by Ruth Berolzheimer.  First pulished in 1938.  928 pages, thumb indexed.  Taken from the Delineator Cook Book by the Culinary Arts Institute.  Published for Culinary Arts Institute by Consolidated Book Publishers, Inc., Chicago, in 1942.  All  pages are clean and clear.  Cover is sort of a mess.  Spine cover has serious shelf wear, as are the edges of the cover.  Binding is solid.  Hinges have been reinforced with clear librarian’s tape.  Published before the wartime edition, also published in 1942.
