Acadiana: French and American Cuisine Seasoned with His Love, 1977, First Printing, As-If-New:  First edition, first printing copy of a very difficult-to-find Creole cookbook edited by Teresa Hicks Bunetta presented by Gospel Outreach Publishers, Inc., an organization for Christian women established to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the World.  Published in 1977 by Gospel Outreach Publishers, Lafayette, Louisiana.  Paper cover.  428 pages.  Near mint condition.  Plastic comb binding.  Some moderate shelf wear on the cover.  Pages completely clean and clear.

The introduction says that Lafayette is in southwestern Louisiana, the hub of Acadiana.  The French-speaking people fled from Nora Scotia hen British  forces burned down their homes and crops and their territory in 1755.  The recipes in this cookbook are a blend of Acadian and traditional American.  Just a few soups, but MANY desserts!
