Peanut Butter Soup from 200 Years of Black Cookery: 250 Total Recipes, 33 African Recipes, 1976

Yes, we have the cookbook.  See it here:  https://vintagecookbook.com/product/200-years-of-black-cookery-250-total-recipes-33-african-recipes-1976/

200 Years of Black Cookery: 250 Total Recipes, 33 African Recipes, 1976:  Cookbook by Bea Moten Foster, first black United Nations radio announcer from 1965 to 1969, who collected recipes from United Nations diplomats and from black Americans.  Cookbook was published in 1976 by the Indianapolis Leonbea Corportion, Inc.  Paper cover book with 97 pages.  The African recipes are published at the back of the book, the American ones at the front.  The cookbook is in absolutely as-if-new condition.  Absolutely gift quality.

200 Years of Black Cookery has many recipes from the days of slavery, like chicken feet and rice, and stuffed hog maw, and old-fashioned Southern neckbones.  It also has many, many delicious-sounding dessert recipes.  I’ve never read most of the African recipes, and I’ve already copied many of them.  I’m planning to try Senegalese Couscous, Berbere or Ethiopia Hot Sauce, and the Nigerian Spinach Stew.
