Golden Rule Cook Book, Mrs. Ida Cogswell Bailey Allen, 1916, Citizens Wholesale Supply Co., Columbus, Ohio: Cookbook with paper cover and 117 pages, plus blank pages for additional recipes. (Blank pages still blank. ) Stapled binding has a bit of rust. Frontispiece and last page covered by semi-transparent tissue paper. Frontispiece has goddess illustration and says “Measured by the Golden Rule and Not Found Wanting,” in conjunction with the Panama-Pacific International Exposition, San Francisco, in 1917. The back page has a picture of the gold medal given to the Golden Rule flavorings. Spine has been reinforced with transparent librarian’s tape. Binding is holding. Pages are all completely clean and clear.
