Neighborhood Cook Book: This is the second edition of The Neighborhood Cook Book, Council of Jewish Women, compiled under the auspices of the Portland Section, Portland, Oregon. First published in 1912 in Portland, Oregon, this revised and enlarged edition was published in 1914. A comprehensive cookbook with many local advertisements, hearty family-oriented recipes, and an excellent index. Hard cover with 330 pages. This copy is in amazingly good condition. Hinges are slightly weak, but holding. With the exception of two cooky recipe pages and two candy recipe pages, all pages are completely clean and clear. A very difficult-to-find cookbook. Other copies on the Internet are priced at $250 and $295.
