Blackstone. Published by Laird & Lee, Publishers, Chicago. Hard cover. No dust jacket. 384 pages. This cookbook is in remarkably good condition. The image and printing on the cover is bright and clear. The front corners are bumped and have shelf wear, as do the hinges on the outside of the spine cover. Front hinge is slightly weak, but holding. Pages are uniformly tanned and brittle, but there is no writing, no stains, no tears on the pages. There’s some discoloration. This cookbook was never really used. First edition, presumed first printing.
