Galantine of Beef from Twentieth Century Cook Book from Twentieth Century Club of Berkeley, 1914:
Yes, we have the cookbook. See it here: https://vintagecookbook.com/product/twentieth-century-cook-book-1914-twentieth-century-club-of-berkeley/
Twentieth Century Cook Book, 1914, Twentieth Century Club of Berkeley, California, First Edition, First Printing: Cookbook compiled by a Progressive Era women’s club out of Berkeley, California. 130 pages of recipes plus about 20 pages of great antique advertising from San Francisco and Berkeley businesses. (I think these ladies got a bit competitive with their recipes. Many of them are quite fancy and are for formal occasions.) The cover of the book is fabric-covered hard boards. It has just a bit of shelf wear on the edges. The clay-coated pages are completely clean and clear. The binding is heavy duty staples. The front hinge is if good condition. The back hinge is exposed, but the binding is still solid. Printed by the Press of A. Newman. First edition, first printing.
This cookbook is quite scarce. I cannot find another copy anywhere on the web.
