Yes, we have the cookbook. See it here: Political Pot Luck: Collection of Recipes from Men Only, 1959, Tallahassee, Florida

Political Pot Luck: Collection of Recipes from Men Only, 1959, Tallahassee, Florida: Meg Madigan, the compiler of this cookbook, must have really done her homework, or–perhaps more likely–must have really had Florida connections (her father was the state comptroller,) because she put together an amazing collection of recipes. She has detailed recipes, all on the cook’s professional stationary, from the governor, state senators, the railroad commissioner, the secretary of state, United States Senators (including John F. Kennedy,) presidential candidates (including Adlai E. Stevenson,) sheriffs, members of the Florida House of Representatives, political attorneys, the Speaker of the House Sam Rayburn, and many, many more. There’s a chapter called “Cracker Cookin’,” with recipes like Swamp Cabbaaage. There’s another chapter called “Lobbyists and Distinguished Citizens.” All together, the book includes nearly 200 recipes, along with an index of dishes and an index of contributors.

The paper cover of the cookbook has some slight shelf wear. The pages of the cookbook are completely clear and clean. The plastic comb binding is perfect. This cookbook is one of the most interesting and unusual in our collection.
