Wiedemann Book of Unusual Recipes: Compiled from the Files of Famous Chefs, 1950:  Third edition of the cookbook first compiled in the early 1910s and published by The Geo. Wiedemann Brewing Co., Inc., Newport, Kentucky.  Paperback book with plastic comb binding.  Cover has minor shelf wear.  236 pages, each and every one perfectly clean and clear.  Binding in mint condition.

Many of the recipes use Wiedemann’s Fine Beer as an ingredient.  The recipes are based on menus luncheons, dinners, and suppers.   It’s kind of fun that the division pages between chapters are advertising for beer.  There’s an entire chapter on Cooking with Wiedemann’s Fine Beer, plus chapters on Canapes, Entrees, Appetizers; Soups; Seafood; Meats; Sauces and Dressings; Vegetables; Salads; Chafing Dish Specialties; Cheese Dishes; Breakfast Dishes; Sandwiches; Eggs, Omelettes, Souffles; and Omelettes.
