Simply Simpatico, 1981, Junior League of Albuquerque

You know we have the cookbook. See it here: https://www.vintagecookbook.com/product/simply-simpatico-taste-new-mexico-junior-league-albuquerque-1981-1984/

Simply Simpatico: A Taste of New Mexico from the Junior League of Albuquerque, 1981, 1984: Cookbook first published first in 1981. This copy is from the 1984 third printing. Nicely designed cookbook with plastic comb binding and cardboard cover, 350 pages. Historically competent cookbook with frequent mentions of four cultures–Indian, Spanish, Mexican and Angelo–and four centuries into uniquely New Mexican cooking. Modern-day adaptations of native dishes are designated by a special symbol, plus a complete chapter just of Comida Simpatica or native dishes. Book includes menus, and a glossary. Lovely pen-and-ink illustrations of native pottery and other implements. (I can’t find the illustrator’s name.)

This cookbook is in excellent vintage condition. Some shelf wear and a few light stains on the external edges of the pages, not on the pages themselves.
