Hard cover book with 111 pages plus 16 pages of advertising from national companies for products like Fleischmann’s Yeast, Pillsbury’s Best Flour and Dwight’s Cow Brand Soda. Braun divides his information into nine chapters, including: 1. Puff Paste, Pies, Tarts; 2. Puddings, Souffle; 3. Ice Creams, Sherbets, Jellies; 4. Sponge Cakes, Pound Cakes, Layer Cakes; 5. Small Cakes, Cookies, Cup Cakes, Drop Cakes; 6. Macaroons, Kisses, Fancy Cakes; 7. Molasses and Honey Cakes; 8. Yeast, Bread, Biscuits, Coffee Cakes, Muffins; 9. Icings, Fillings, Fancy Cakes, Color. Plus additional recipes and designs for intricate cake decorating.

This cookbook is in fair to good condition–but in an interesting way. Recipes are handwritten on the blank pages and cut out and pasted on some of the advertising pages. It is really a cook’s copy. The book was really used! Many of the pages have many light spots. The cover has some shelf wear. The hinges are exposed, but holding.
