Dessert Recipes from Victory Cook Book by Friendly Circle, Franklin, Michigan. World War II

Yes, we have the cookbook.  See it here:  https://vintagecookbook.com/product/victory-cook-book-by-friendly-circle-franklin-michigan-no-date/

Victory Cook Book by Friendly Circle, Franklin, Michigan. No date.  The illustrations in this book are drawings of women cooking, and from the clothing and hairstyles in these pictures, we assume this cookbook was published in the late 1940s, during or after World War II.  In the Victory Hints section at the back of the book, it says “Victory is more than just another word.  It is a challenge to the ingenuity of womanhood. . . . All this must be accomplished with what we have and with no extra time added each day.”

Cookbook has a heavy paper cover and about 120 pages that look like they were mimeographed.  As with most books published during the war, the paper is  fragile.  The eyelet holes have given way on several pages.  But the pages are all completely clean and clear.  There are many pages of advertising from Birmingham  and Franklin, Michigan,
