Thoughts for Buffets was compiled by a group of socialites in Chicago. They didn’t include their names, or even the name of their group. I wish they had, because it would be nice to credit someone for these incredibly imaginative menus and recipes. Thoughts for Buffets by Institute Publishing Company. Cambridge: Riverside, 1958. Hardback, 425 pp. Later printing. Nearly mint condition. Dust jacket in excellent vintage condition. This cookbook was never used. Definitely gift quality.
